At the Off Leash Park

Today we took Max to the off leash park called the Serpentine. It’s a smallish park, but there are tons of dogs there all out having a good time. All sorts of dog, all sorts of sizes, and he had no issues at all! He just pranced and ran and chased and was chased and had a great time.

Here is a movie of Max, taken by Pam October 28, of himΒ playing at the park.

The “That’s Gross” comment from Pam was about a “little” slobber Max had over his nose! haha About 3 or 4 feet long! haha

  1. He is very spry. He runs fast, he likes to play with packs of dogs, we have 2 movies of him at off leash, one was posted in Nov the freedom park one, and the first one was the Serpentine one. He has a lush thick coat, and a very plumey ? is that a word? tail. It’s extremely thick and he loves to be groomed which is nice, he is not a big shedder right now, I think that I read chow’s shed twice a year, so maybe that will be the case for Max as he’s part chow. πŸ™‚

  2. Hi, Max looks great.. this is my first chance to see how he moves.. He’s pretty limber so that’s swell. he has a beautiful tail..

  3. HI everyone from the SPCA πŸ™‚ Glad you are coming by to check on the good boy. πŸ™‚ He’s really sweet. He still barks like crazy when friends come over, he is not used to them yet.. but he’s getting better. πŸ™‚ He’s bonding well with us and loves to cuddle and hug and give sloppy kisses. he’s a really sweet soul, thank you all for taking such good care of him until we could find him. πŸ™‚

  6. Wow Max looks like you play pretty well with other pups. You certainly have tons of energy to burn. That is great he was having a blast. Doesn’t seem to have any trouble with grass there. And thanks for the description of the snot rope. That’s a load off that he does so well with other dogs. You have brought a lot of joy to your new mum and dad. Talk to ya soon
