Hmm… I have been hearing about a meet and greet. I have to go out to mission to meet some other dogs, and if I get along with them I can stay with them (I think they called it boarding) while Mum and Dad go on holidays. It sounds like a fun place, sounds like there are alot of other dogs there to play with so that might be fun. I’m not throwing my support behind the idea 100%, I’ll have to meet Anna Maria and Brian and then I’ll make my decision!
I might decide that being around alot of other dogs, going for walks in the woods, getting fed a couple times a day, getting to sleep on my swell beds at her place.. being entertained all day.. that might be terrible.. hey… wait a minute, that doesn’t sound bad at all? Well I’ll just keep an eye on the other dogs and see what they are like and then I’ll let you know how this meet and greet goes.. I think it’s going to happen in a week or two. Stay tuned!

update: I spoke with Anna Maria and we are going to take Max out to her place next weekend. She’s made prior commitments for this weekend, so next weekend it will be. 🙂 Luckily Anna Maria has 2 chows so she knows the bark until I know you mentality that Max has. I’m going to feel better knowing that he has a swell place to stay, and won’t be in a cold kennel. I like that he sleeps in the house with warmth, company and a nice bed. 🙂
I’m thinking he will do ok with the other dogs, it’s the humans I’m more concerned about. I’ll have to warn Anna Maria that he’s a barker and slow to trust, but once he gets to know you.. he’s a gem.
Oh right! you have your Holiday plans!! Anna Maria & Brian will be so sad about Buck :o( but hopefully Max will be ‘accepted’ ……. sounds like a great place for pets to ‘camp out’.
