Pam and I have taken a couple days and headed south to one of the timeshares we have. This time we’re about five hours south and east of Vancouver, in Orondo Washington. If you know the area at all, it’s very close to Wenatchee – so that should clear it up for you. 🙂

It has a lovely links-style golf course, which they tell us is harder than the course in Lynden, which I find hard to believe! When Joy was here, she and Pam and I played in Linden, and we ran out of balls — and we had eight dozen I think…. We’ve got a tee time for 10:30, so we’ll let you know!

It was a nice easy drive here, much easier than going through the mountains to Calgary via the Trans-Canada highway. The highways were in very nice condition, with lots of freshly paved sections. Usually we hit all the paving slow downs, but everything was finished. Very nice driving.

It’s close to 80 here today, so we’re looking forward to that kind of heat tomorrow! The pool and hot tub are just outside the balcony, so you can guess where Pam is right now!
